START WITH WHAT MATTERS TO YOU
You do not need to arrive knowing which treatment to ask for. Start with the goal that brought you here.

OUR APPROACH
Health optimization is not a product menu. It is a process of understanding your goals, reviewing your health context, discussing appropriate options, and deciding what if anything makes sense to pursue.
Our clinical team begins with evaluation. If an option is appropriate, we explain its purpose, limitations, cost, and follow-up requirements before you decide.

“Peptide therapy” describes a broad and changing category. Different products have different evidence, regulatory status, potential uses, and risks. Some peptide medications are FDA-approved for specific indications; other substances promoted online are unapproved or may have limited safety information.
That is why the right starting point is not choosing a vial. It is speaking with an appropriately licensed clinician who can review your history, explain current options, and determine whether any treatment may be suitable.

hOW IT WORKS
Complete a short request form with your location, preferred visit format, and primary area of interest.
Your clinician reviews your history, current concerns, medications, and any assessment or lab information needed for an informed evaluation.
If care is appropriate, you receive an explanation of the recommended approach, alternatives, limitations, costs, and expected follow-up. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
Your care plan includes follow-up and a clear way to ask questions or report concerns.

OUR CLINICAL TEAM

Board Certified Chiropractor | Founder and Lead Chiropractor, Carpe Diem Chiropractic
Dr. Barak Meraz discovered his passion for chiropractic care as a year-round high school athlete. At 14, a visit to his father’s chiropractic appointment set his path, and he went on to graduate Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
He gained invaluable experience at a prominent chiropractic office, became an Olympic Wellness Adviser, and refined his focus on patient education and spine corrective care while serving patients in New York City.
In 2014, Dr. Meraz fulfilled his dream of founding his own practice in Fort Lauderdale. His dedication to spinal health led to a second Carpe Diem Chiropractic clinic in Plantation, making his care accessible to more people seeking pain relief and lasting well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Begin with your goal and questions. The purpose of evaluation is to understand your situation and discuss appropriate options, which may or may not include prescription treatment.
No. “Peptide” covers many different substances and medications. Evidence, regulatory status, risks, and appropriate uses vary. Treatment should never be presented as automatically suitable based on a marketing questionnaire.
No. Some peptide medications are FDA-approved for specific indications. Other substances marketed as peptides are not FDA-approved, and some compounded substances have limited safety information or unresolved regulatory status. The site’s treatment information will be updated as the clinical formulary and applicable rules change.
An appropriately licensed clinician makes that determination after evaluating relevant health information and applicable requirements.
Lawful non-prescription products may be available through a standard online shop. Prescription treatments are different: they appear in the patient store only when they are part of an authorized care plan. Adding an authorized item to a treatment order does not guarantee dispensing; prescription, jurisdiction, pharmacy, inventory, and fulfillment requirements still apply.
The clinician may recommend another option, additional evaluation, coordination with another provider, or no treatment. A responsible consultation is valuable even when the answer is “not this.”
